Welcome Summer 2015

Been playing some catch up on some of my favourite garden pictures from 2015 and this is one of them!

Next to crafting, searching for vintage finds is my next best thing to do. My husband and I usually spend out Saturdays in the yard sale circa. Last year we found this dresser for $10 and it was already painted this colour...perfect find!

To create this page I used the following items: Paper from Fabscraps, Blue Fern, Bo Bunny, embellishments from fancy pants. Added textures by using the sewing machine, modelling paste, cut-outs from dies spellbinders and Lawn Fawn, Distress ink and a heart punch.

Patio Love

Those who know we well know that I love just being home. I don't need to leave to feel like i'm in paradise. All I need is some sunshine and my back deck! These are memories from 2015.

For this lay-out I used Simple Stories Bloom & Grow line, with their embellishments of the bits and pieces, Enamel dots and Brads. To make everything pop I inked the edges with Gathered Twigs Distress Ink and used some flicks of distress spray.

For inspiration I ventured to scrapbook.com.

Home

~ Home makes my Heart Sing ~

This is the only way I can describe the feeling I have with being home, especially in the summer! I felt it needed to be captured and be placed in my book of memories.

I used paper from Pink Paisley, wooden butterflies and the heart button from Maya Road, lots and lots of layering and stitching as well as inking edges. I used a spellbinders hexagon die to cut the pieces and popped some of them up on foam tape.

Hope this gives you some inspiration to create a lay-out of your home.
